Marblehead To Host Veterans Day Ceremony At Abbot Hall
The public is invited to the ceremony that begins at 10 a.m. on Friday.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents are invited to attend the town's Veterans Day ceremony Friday morning at Abbot Hall.
Tim Kenney, U.S. Navy, will be the principal speaker at the event that begins at 10 a.m.
Doors open at 9 a.m. Shuttle service will be provided from the National Grand Bank parking lot beginning at 9.

Those attending are invited to attend a reception with coffee and snacks at the VFW at 321 West Shore Drive following the ceremony.
U.S. Rep Seth Moulton (D-Salem) will then host the Annual Veterans Town Hall starting at noon on Friday as both veterans and non-veterans are invited to hear current and former servicemen and women share experiences and connect with the community.

The Veterans Town Hall is based on the concept of Sebastian Junger ("The Perfect Storm") where veterans are encouraged to stand before their community and speak about what it was like to serve their country so that all in attendance can gain knowledge and perspective.
