Marblehead Imposes 4-Day Overnight Snow Emergency Parking Ban: Blizzard 2026

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents will have to keep parked vehicles off public streets each of the next four nights as public works crews widen streets and clear sidewalks from the latest winter storm.

The four-day ban begins on Wednesday at 11 p.m. and lasts until 7 a.m. Thursday morning. It will then repeat for the next three nights through Sunday morning.

Vehicles found in violation of the parking ban may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense to ensure roads remain clear for emergency vehicles and snow cleanup and removal operations.

The town said residents and visitors are also urged to park responsibly to help keep roadways clear and safe throughout the week as crews work to remove excess snow during the day as well.
