Marblehead Kindergarten Registration Open For 2024-25 School Year

The district is now accepting registrations for children who will be turning 5 years old on or before Aug. 31.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Parents and guardians of children who will be turning 5 years old on or before Aug. 31 can now register for kindergarten in Marblehead.

There is a fee for full-day kindergarten in the town with half-day kindergarten free.

There will be a kindergarten orientation on April 4 at 6 p.m. at the Brown School and the Glover School.

Once children are registered, caregivers will receive a school assignment.

All Marblehead Public School preschool students now enrolled in preschool must still register for kindergarten and will be screened for kindergarten in the spring by their classroom teachers.

All families with newly enrolled kindergarten students will receive an email during the week of April 26 with screening dates and related information.
