Marblehead Little Theatre presents “A Night With the Super Stars"
One-Night-Only -- Cast Members of MLT's production of "JESUS CHRIST SUPER STAR" perform music selections from a variety of genres
Marblehead, Massachusetts - On Saturday, March 23, at 8 p.m., Marblehead Little Theatre will host “A Night With the Super Stars” — a one-night-only preview of the vast talent of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR’s cast members as they perform their own favorite vocal selections drawn from a variety of genres.
Following the performance, audience members will have a chance to meet and mingle with the actors who will be portraying Jesus, Judas, Mary, Peter, Herod, Caiaphas, Soul Sisters, Priests and members of the ensemble and to hob-knob with the producers, director, musical director, choreographer, stage manager, and production designers.
In cabaret style, light refreshments will be available for purchase during and after the show.

The event will be held at MLT’s Firehouse Theatre at 12 School Street. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at mltlive.org or at Arnould Gallery and Framery at 111 Washington St., in Marblehead. Proceeds will benefit MLT’s production budget.
Tickets for Marblehead Little Theatre’s production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR are also available at mltlive.org and at Arnould Gallery and Framery. Performances are scheduled for April 5 to 7 and from April 11 to 14 at the MLT Firehouse Theatre, 12 School Street. Tickets are $25 each. There is a special $15 student rate for matinee performances.

With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is a rock opera based on the last week of Jesus’ life set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen, unusually, through the eyes of Judas Iscariot. Loosely based on the Gospels, the story is told entirely through song, exploring the personal relationships and struggles between Jesus, Judas, Mary Magdalene, his disciples, his followers, the Judeans and the Roman Empire.
Marblehead Little Theatre’s community theatre production of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is presented by arrangement with The Music Company, LP.
Started in 1955 by members of the Marblehead Women’s Club, the award-winning Marblehead Little Theatre is one of the oldest community theatre groups in New England, having consistently presented live-theater productions for over six decades.
