Marblehead Man Found Guilty On Simple Assault Charge
Sexual assault charges were dropped for Richard Scogland, who was previously accused of the crime in Hampton Beach.

HAMPTON, NH -- A Marblehead man has been arrested and is facing charges in a sexual assault last week on Hampton Beach, police said Wednesday. Richard Scogland, 46, is facing two counts of sexual assault.
Police said Scogland approached a random woman on Ocean Boulevard last Friday and touched her breasts and groin. He is scheduled to be arraigned in New Hampshire in November.
