Marblehead Needs Finance, Conservation Commission Members

The Select Board is seeking applicants for both townwide boards.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The Marblehead Select Board is seeking new members for the town's Finance Commission and Conservation Commission.

The Finance Commission is the financial oversight of the town budget, works with town departments to develop budgets in line with revenues and makes recommendations to the Select Board and town meeting members on spending each year.

The Conservation Commission deals with issues and projects that threaten town resources, open space and other considerations and helps create parameters to protect these resources in the town's best interest.
