Marblehead Nomination Papers For Annual Town Election Available

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Nomination papers for those seeking to run in the Marblehead annual town election are available this week.

The annual town election is set for June 22.

Nomination papers can be obtained with a written request using the form here. Those seeking to be on the ballot will need to obtain at least 50 signatures of registered voters — getting more than 50 signatures is strongly advised to ensure there are enough if any signatures are disqualified.

Nomination papers must be returned no later than 5 p.m. on May 2.

All candidates are required to file three campaign finance reports even if you spent your own money or you did not spend or raise money. These reports are due regardless of the outcome of the election.

Campaign finance reports are due on June 13, July 21 and as part of an end-of-the-year report due Jan. 20, 2023.
