Does Tedesco Need Another Crosswalk?
Find out what's happening in Marbleheadfor free with the latest updates from Patch.
Dan Hawthorne - Absolutely. This is a VERY busy section of the road with traffic from the YMCA, Vinnin Square, Tedesco Country Club and residences. Crossing safely is difficult for adults and outright dangerous for children.
Laura Simpson As a resident of Mystic Road, I agree. We are often crossing Tedesco to walk, bike to school. There is no crosswalk in our area of Tedesco and cars are often accelerating in the straight-away from Vinnin Sq to Leggs Hill. A visual remider with a crosswalk would help to slow the traffic approaching Leggs Hill area and make a safer passage for pedestrians as well.

Brenda Dumais Yes, We live on Emerald ave and my kids travel to the YMCA . It is crazy that one is not in place already!!! Thanks Dara for getting the process going!!!!
Janet Lothrop Yes. The traffic gets going way too fast in that area and a reminder that this is still a "neighborhood" with pedestrians would be very helpful. We all need a safe spot to cross the street in this area.

Selectmen Review BYOB Regulations
julee I hope this restaurant is able to get their byob license. The food is very good and the service is excellent.
Joe Whipple Why should they need a license at all? What statutory authority does the Town have to either require or issue such a thing? Do other municipalities issue BYOB licenses?

Have You Seen the Marblehead Papa Gino's Commercial?
Let me get this straight: the lobsters are making a break for it while the lobstermen are eating pizza in a restaurant that looks exactly like the inside of a Denny's? What do lobsters have to do with pizza? How authentic can these creative geniuses be?

Paul Fehrenbach Jr. Jason, his wife and the entire staff are extremely customer focused. Everyone smiles at you and goes out of their way to say hello. The Executive Chef was recruited from Cafe Polonia in Salem, where the food was terrific. Look for even more exciting menu options as he has a vision and Jason seems to give him free reign. Try something you might not otherwise order. I love beet soup, and their golden beet version is to die for. Can't wait for the sour pickle soup!!
Bethany Porrazzo Casa Corona is awesome - great affordable mexican food. They are working on getting a BYOB liscense, but don't let that stop you. Let's help keep this one in business.
Betsy Walker Yannalfo's has delicious Italian food and desserts, and very pleasant and attentive wait staff. Definitely a local 'gem.' Joey D's is also very good. The best pizza in town, in my opinion, and they have a wide variety of good food that is inexpensive and served in ample portions. Casa Corona is good too. Not quite as good as Cielito Lindo in Beverly, but it's local, very tasty and worth a try.
