Marblehead Police Log: Bus Hits Pedestrian; Low-Flying Drones

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead Police log.

8:35 a.m. - A caller reported the no turn on red sign is facing the wrong way and vehicles are making the turn from Atlantic Ave. onto Clifton Ave.

9:49 a.m. - A caller reported a man sleeping in a car in front of a strong on Bessom Street. He had just gotten off an overnight hospital shift.

10:53 a.m. - Caller reports the brakes on a bus gave out and it struck a pedestrian. The pedestrian was not hurt.

11:49 a.m. - Someone said one of her mother's tenants drove through the garage door.

12:25 p.m. - Multiple callers report a post truck drove off the road and into some bushes. The driver had some facial injuries and an altered mental state.

2:45 p.m. - A low-flying drone in the are was taking pictures of an office. Another caller stated the drone was flying so low on Atlantic Ave. he though it could "cause a major traffic accident."

10:34 p.m. - Contractor said a workman staying at the worksite to prevent people from stealing tools. He said the workman said someone is pounding on the door. The worker thought it was the police, but the police said it was not.

11:14 p.m. - A woman outside with her dog said she heard and older man asked for help looking for where Cowell or Russell Street is. She could not see him.
