Marblehead PTOs Thank National Grand Bank for 46 Years of Generosity

Thank you to National Grand Bank

In 1968, a first class stamp cost five cents, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band was album of the year, and Richard Nixon was inaugurated as the 37th President of the United States. Also, in 1968, National Grand Bank made its first donation to Marblehead’s parent-teacher organizations.

Then, and for forty-six consecutive years since, National Grand Bank has acted as a true partner in the education of Marblehead’s children. National Grand’s annual donations to our school PTOs/PCOs at the start of each school year, have helped us to provide Bell, Coffin Gerry, Glover (Eveleth), Village School, Veterans Middle School and Marblehead High School students with valuable, education-enriching items including SmartBoards, playground equipment, tablets and technology carts, just to name a few.

In economic times when many businesses are forced to look critically at bottom lines, local charitable donations are often the first items cut from budgets. Yet, time and time again, National Grand Bank continues to act as a local friend and generous benefactor to the education of our children.
