Marblehead Pumpkin Illumination Back For 2021
The 13th yearly event, which was canceled in 2020 because of the coronavirus, returns on Oct. 28 to the Jeremiah Lee Mansion.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — It's carving time in Marblehead once again.
After coronavirus concerns canceled the annual Pumpkin Illumination in 2020, the event is back this year on Oct. 28 at the Jeremiah Lee Mansion.
"We're back to show off your beautiful, scary, creative carved and decorated pumpkins," organizers said on Monday.

This year's event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Those dropping off pumpkins can do so from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 3 p.m.
The cost of entry is $5 per person or $20 per family.

Matt Heaton will be performing live and there will be prizes and more.
All proceeds will go toward rebuilding Hobbs Playground.
"Our goal is to hit our target by the spring so we can bring this beautiful playground to our community as soon as next year," organizers said.
The Marblehead Family Fund and Marblehead Museum are hosting the event sponsored by National Grand Bank.
