Marblehead Resident Is 'Lucky For Life' This Holiday Season
The Marblehead resident bought the winning ticket at the Stop & Shop on Paradise Road in Swampscott.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — A Marblehead resident who bought his winning "Lucky for Life" lottery ticket at the Stop & Shop in Swampscott is looking to put his winnings toward buying a house.
Humberto Bernabe won $25,000 a year for life as part of the multi-state lottery game. The first five numbers on his ticket matched those in the drawing conducted on Nov. 22.
The Mass. Lottery said Bernabe claimed his prize on Dec. 1 and elected the cash option on the prize. He will receive a one-time prize of $390,000 before taxes.

Bernabe told the Lottery that he had been playing those numbers in multiple games over the past 2.5 years.
The Stop & Shop where Bernabe bought the ticket will receive a $5,000 bonus for its sale.
