Marblehead Resident Named AP Scholar with Distincition

Maria Ronchi of Marblehead, a member of the class of 2015 at Commonwealth School in Boston, has been named named an AP Scholar with Distinction, which means that she received an average score of 3.5 or higher on all the Advanced Placement (AP) exams she took, and scores of 3 or higher on at least five of those exams.
The AP Scholar program recognizes academic excellence based on a student’s performance in the College Board’s Advanced Placement Exams. A total of 46 current and former students at Commonwealth School were recognized by the AP Scholar program this fall.
Commonwealth School is an independent, coed, day school with 145 students in grades 9 to 12 located in Boston’s Back Bay.
