Marblehead Rotary Club Awards 5 Scholarships To Outstanding Students
The scholarship winners were recognized for their excellence in academics, leadership, community service and extracurricular activities.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The Rotary Club of Marblehead recently recognized five outstanding Marblehead students for their excellence in academics, leadership, community service and extracurricular activities as recipients in this year's scholarship program.
Maeve McIlroy earned the Randolph and Barbara Goodwin Scholarship. She is headed to Brown University to study medicine on a pre-med or biology track.
Charlotte Howells earned the Donald Humphrey and Veterans Memorial scholarship, named after Mr. Marblehead, a beloved local figure and World War II veteran. She will enter Stonehill College, majoring in early education.

Matthew Callahan, a football star and athlete, will attend Amherst College in the fall to pursue an economics degree.
Griffen Collins is the first Marblehead Rotary scholarship recipient for college undergraduates. He is currently a college sophomore pursuing a double major in music and cognitive brain science at Tufts University.

Angelina Nguyen plans to attend the University of California at Berkeley, majoring in applied mathematics with a minor in electrical engineering.
