Marblehead Rotary Names New President
Don Dowling will lead the organization and its fundraising projects.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead Rotary has chosen a local businessman and father as its new president.
Don Dowling, who owns Marblehead Collision and has been active in the Rotary's fundraising projects in recent years, said he will focus on Marblehead's children and families in need.
"He brings fresh vitality to our club as one of our youngest members, spicing up our meetups and events with his infectious positive energy and winning attitude," Marblehead Rotary said in a statement. "He has led our club to competitive sports events to raise funds for our signature projects."

Dowling was a captain of the Rotary's Polar Plunge to End Polio campaign and a crew leader in the duck tape regatta race to benefit the clean water project in Burkina Faso.
A multiple recipient of the Paul Harris Fellow Award, Dowling and his wife, Laney, recently organized a fundraising project for a new playground at the Eveleth School.
