Marblehead Seeks Applicants For Town Finance Committee
The Finance Committee functions in an advisory capacity for all financial matters of the town.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — The Marblehead Select Board is seeking applicants to serve on the town's Finance Committee.
Those interested are encouraged to submit letters of interest and resumes to the Select Board at Abbot Hall, 188 Washington Street, or email them to wileyk@marblehead.org. For more information, contact 781-631-0000.

The Committee reviews the budgets of all town departments and holds a public hearing on all town meeting warrant articles calling for the expenditure of town funds. The Finance Committee's recommendations in favor, in opposition, to table or to indefinitely postpone these articles are included in the Report of the Finance Committee that is delivered to each home before the town meeting.
The Finance Committee consists of nine members appointed by the Select Board to staggered three-year terms.
