Marblehead Sex Offender Map

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Before the kids go out trick or treating on Halloween, it is a good time to take inventory of who is living in your neighborhood.

The Massachusetts Sex Offender Registry Board lists home and work information for those sex offenders with the highest "risk" of reoffending. Massachusetts has three classification levels for sex offenders, with Level 3 representing those most at risk to reoffend and Level 1 representing those least at risk to reoffend. Only information about Level 3 and Level 2 sex offenders is listed online.

"The degree of dangerousness posed to the public is such that a public safety interest is served by public availability of registration information,” the board said in a statement.

Officials stressed it's illegal to use this information to commit a crime, such as harassing an offender or vandalizing his/her home.

One Level 3 sex offender was registered as living in Marblehead in 2016. No Level 2 offenders were registered.
