Marblehead Snow Emergency Parking Ban Declared

The ban was set to begin on Friday with up to 4 inches of snow predicted for the North Shore.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead declared a snow emergency parking ban beginning on Friday with forecasts predicting up to 4 inches of snow on the North Shore.

The parking ban was set to go into effect at 10 p.m.

All vehicles left on city streets will be subject to towing and ticketing.

The ban was set to expire at 7 a.m. on Saturday.

The NWS is calling for a combination of snow and rain to move in around noon on Friday, with rain to the south and snow north of the Route 2 corridor out through Littleton, Fitchburg and Gardner.
