Marblehead Students Honored At Bates, Holy Cross, Mississippi

MARBLEHEAD, MA — These Marblehead students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.
William Crowley is among the more than 1,000 students who graduated from the University of Mississippi in August 2022.
Crowley, who is an Integrated Marketing Comm major, received a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Journalism and New Media.

"Congratulations to our August 2022 class of graduates who are distinguished by outstanding achievements," said Chancellor Glenn Boyce. "They accomplished so much during their years at Ole Miss, and we can't wait to see all the ways they will pursue their passions and reach their fullest potential."
August 2022 graduates were invited to walk across the stage at the University of Mississippi 2022 Commencement exercises, which were held May 4-8.

The Class of 2026 at St. Lawernce includes Marblehead students Brogan McGorray, Sophia Nickolas and Oliver Riegle.
Thirty-eight percent of students ranked in the top 10 percent of their respective graduating high school classes, and 70 percent were in the top quarter.
The College of the Holy Cross welcomes the 904 new Crusaders who are starting at the College in fall 2022, including Charlotte Collins and Francesca D'Orio, of Marblehead.
Bates College graduated 477 students from 39 U.S. states and 40 nations on May 29.
Milly Detels graduated after majoring in mathematics and physics at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Detels is a 2018 graduate of Gould Academy.
Detels graduates as a member of Sigma Xi, an honor society that recognizes excellence in scientific research.
Derek Marino graduated after majoring in rhetoric, film, and screen studies and minoring in religious studies at Bates. Marino is a 2018 graduate of Marblehead High School.
