Marblehead Students Honored At Emerson, Holy Cross, Tampa, UVM, WNEU

MARBLEHEAD, MA — These Marblehead students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinctions at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.

The following Marblehead students earned bachelor's degrees from the University of Vermont:

Ryan Hamilton graduated with a bachelor's in Business Administration.

Joshua Hull graduated with a bachelor's in Neuroscience.

Lily Sansons graduated with a bachelor's in Professional Nursing.

Mirabella Vulikh graduated with a bachelor's in Biochemistry.

Elle Zymba graduated with a bachelor's in Business Administration.

Alexandra Femino graduated from Western New England University with a BS in Criminal Justice.

The following local residents were named to the Dean's List at Hamilton College for the spring 2023 semester:

Roland Booma, a rising junior majoring in economics, is a graduate of Marblehead Senior High School.

Carter Segal, a rising junior majoring in biology, is a graduate of Pingree School.

To be named to the Hamilton Dean's List, a student must have carried a course load of four or more graded credits throughout the semester and earned an average GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale.

Marblehead students were named to the College of the Holy Cross' Dean's List for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2022-23 academic year. The following local students made the list:

Christopher Barone, Class of 2024.

Charlotte Collins, Class of 2026.

To qualify for the Holy Cross Dean's List, students must pass four or more letter-graded courses with no failing grades during the semester and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Edward Hitchcock, a senior majoring in engineering and management, was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester at Clarkson University.

Clarkson Dean's List students must achieve a minimum 3.25 grade-point average and also carry at least 14 credit hours.

The following local students were named to the University of Tampa Dean's List with a GPA of 3.75 or higher:

Alexandra DiGiovanni, a senior majoring in Education-Elementary (K-6) BS.

Madison DiGiovanni, a sophomore majoring in Biology BS.

Jessica West made the Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology. This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 3.0 or higher academic average for the semester.

The following students were named to Emerson College's Dean's List for the spring 2023 semester. The requirement to make Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for that semester:

Abigail Murphy is majoring in Journalism and is a member of the Class of 2023.

Penelope Walker is majoring in Political Communication and is a member of the Class of 2025.

William Grinnell is majoring in Business Creative Enterprises and is a member of the Class of 2026.

Brendan Willett is majoring in Sports Communication and is a member of the Class of 2026.
