Residents of Marblehead and Swampscott can arrange to have hazardous household waste materials picked up at their homes on March 9.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead and Swampscott residents will have another opportunity to have hazardous household waste materials picked up at their homes.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the towns have joined with ACV Enviro to provide pickup services for hazardous household waste instead of a traditional dropoff day. Residents can register here and then place their items curbside to be picked up between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on March 9.
Items eligible for pickup include oil-based paints, latex paints, oils, lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, car batteries, antifreeze, pool chemicals and cleaning products.
