Marblehead To Swear In New Firefighters On Monday
The public is invited to the swearing-in ceremony at Abbot Hall.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The public is invited to the official swearing-in ceremony for the newest Marblehead firefighters and those promoted to their new to their positions on Monday night.
The ceremony will be held at Abbot Hall at 6:30 p.m.
Fire Chief Jason Gilliland and Town Clerk Robin Michaud will lead the ceremony, which will include the swearing-in of a captain, lieutenant, firefighters and chaplain.

Joseph Thibodeau will be sworn in as captain, Liam Gilliland as a lieutenant, William Boardway, Richard Ehlert and John Morris as firefighters and Monsignor Timothy Moran as chaplain.
Department members, families and friends, as well as residents, are invited to attend with all fire personnel on duty and those being sworn in asked to wear Class B uniforms with badges.
