Marblehead Town Meeting Warrant Discussion Night Set
The April 18 forum will allow residents to get information and ask questions about the warrant articles at the May 1 annual town meeting.
MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents interested in learning more about the town's warrant articles at this year's annual town meeting are invited to a League of Women Voters informational night on April 18.
The forum will take place at 7 p.m. in the Marblehead High School library where sponsors of each of the warrant articles — articles 44 to 54 — have been asked to make a brief presentation on the proposals with questions to follow.
League member Sue Harris will moderate the program which is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The League of Women Voters said Marblehead Television will video the forum and air it at various future dates and times.
The League of Women Voters, established in 1920, aims to promote political responsibility through the informed and active participation of citizens in government. The League is nonpartisan and has open membership to all.
