Marblehead Veterans Day Ceremony Set For Abbot Hall

Residents are invited to attend this year's ceremony with a reception to follow at the VFW Post 2005.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents are invited to this year's Veterans Day town ceremony to be held in the Abbot Hall Auditorium on Thursday.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. with the event scheduled to start at 10. Parking with shuttle service will be available from the National Grand Bank rear parking lot starting at 9 a.m. with the final shuttle at 9:45 a.m.

The shuttle will make return trips after the ceremony.

U.S. Marine Corps veteran Francisco Urena will be the keynote speaker with a performance from the Marblehead Choral Group, directed by Andrew Scoglio.

Those attending are invited to the VFW Post 2005 on West Shore Drive for coffee and donuts after the event.
