Marblehead Woman's Trump Sign Stolen For 8th Time

A Marblehead woman's Trump sign was stolen or vandalized again — for the eighth time — this weekend.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — A Marblehead woman this weekend reported someone stole her Donald Trump sign — again. It was the eighth time someone stole or vandalized her Trump signs on Harbor Avenue. The latest theft happened early Sunday; the homeowner called police at 7:46 a.m. upon realizing the sign had been hit again, according to the Marblehead police log.

The seventh time was Tue., Aug. 9 — and it was captured on video. A sophisticated nighttime security camera captured two suspects, a woman and another person, in the act. The woman can be seen picking up the sign and hopping in the vehicle's back seat. The driver is visible but it's unclear if it's a man or a woman.

"Clearly the woman depicted here is old enough to know better," Marblehead police said in a statement. "Regardless of political affiliations, trespassing on private property and the taking of something that doesn’t belong to you (which under [Massachusetts] law is considered larceny) can land a person in court with hefty fines, the possibility of jail time and a criminal record."
