MARBLEHEAD, MA — Marblehead residents looking to get rid of some leftover fall and winter leaves from their yards will have three chances this spring.

Yard waste must be in paper bags or barrels. No plastic bags will be collected or emptied. Only grass and leaves will be collected. Bags or barrels containing brush or other debris will not be accepted because this type of material affects the quality of the compost generated from leaves.
