Marblehead's Abbot Library Hosts Job Seekers Discussion Group
The group for 50+ job seekers is designed to provide attendees with access to networking, skills development and employment search services.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — North Shore job seekers are invited to take part in a virtual networking group of 50+ individuals that the Marblehead Abbot Public Library is running weekly in collaboration with the Tewksbury Public Library in September.
The group meets via Zoom on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and on the second and fourth Wednesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The meetings are designed to help develop new relationships, skills and strategies for a career transition. Each meeting features a new topic and includes a presentation, interactive workshop on topics relevant to career transition, guest speakers, access to hiring managers, small group breakout rooms to network, and 1-on-1 coaching guidance.
Participating on a regular basis is aimed at giving job seekers the many tools and strategies needed for a successful job search.

Each meeting is facilitated by Deborah Hope, an experienced executive career coach. Hope is a former Fortune 500 executive, investment banker and entrepreneur.
