Marblehead's Abbot Public Library To Host Anti-Racism Discussion
A Stephen Colbert and Ibram X. Kendi video will be followed by a 90-minute discussion with Marblehead Racial Justice Team on July 18.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The Marblehead Racial Justice Team will host a "How to be an Antiracist" discussion as part of the Conversations on Race series at the Abbot Public Library.
The session will run in-person and online from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on July 18 and will begin with a short Stephen Colbert and Ibram X. Kendi video followed by a group discussion and listening session on the presentation.
"These ongoing Marblehead Racial Justice Team conversations offer a safe and welcoming place in which we explore privilege, biases, and questions," Abbot Public Library Marketing and Communications Coordinator Cassandra Sprague said. "This is a place for listening, conversation and engagement.
