Marijuana at High School, Road Rage, Business Sabotaged: Marblehead Police Log

Latest Marblehead police log: marijuana found at high school, road rage, and a business owner believes a competitor is sabotaging him.

MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are presumed innocent.

Wed., Oct. 19

  • 9:08 a.m. An Atlantic Avenue resident said someone hacked his bank account.
  • 9:11 a.m. A business owner on Washington Street said he believes a "competitor" is damaging products inside his store.
  • 11:36 a.m. A worker on Cliff Street said someone stole his tool bag.
  • 12:47 p.m. Police were called to Marblehead High School to dispose of marijuana that was "turned in."
  • 2:36 p.m. A woman on Barnard Street said she was the victim of credit card fraud.
  • 3:42 p.m. An individual on Wyman Road said a group of high school students stole his basketball and called him homophobic names.
  • 3:45 p.m. A woman on Atlantic Avenue said an aggressive driver pulled beside her and swore at her.
  • 8:54 p.m. A Pleasant Street resident called for help after cutting her finger in a blender.
  • 10:11 p.m. A truck driver was hospitalized after crashing into several street signs on Pleasant Street.
  • 11:37 p.m. A 24-year-old Marblehead resident was taken into protective custody after a "large fight" was reported on Commercial Street.
