Matinee Performance at Marblehead Little Theatre Today at 2PM
Head on down to The Marblehead Little Theatre to see the Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize winning production of August: Osage County.
There is a 2PM Matinee performance today, Sunday October 11th of Marblehead Little Theatre’s fiercely funny, turbo charged tragicomedy production of August: Osage County. While on Broadway, the production received several Tony Awards in 2008 including best play as well as winning the Pulitzer Prize in 2008 for drama. The house will open today at 1:30.
When the Weston family of Oklahoma is unexpectedly forced to reunite after years apart, addiction, dark secrets and an acidic matriarch mix to create a cocktail that unflinchingly exposes the dark side of the Midwestern American family.
The production runs thru October 18th. Tickets and more information are available online at www.mltlive.org or at the Spirit of 76 Bookstore. Ticket prices are $25 with student pricing of $15 for Sunday matinee performances.
