Medication Disposal Available at the Police Station

Marblehead, MA - The Marblehead Police Department is part of the Medication Disposal Program for the Town of Marblehead.

This means the police department will take any unused and/or expired medications. The department has a designated (locked) box located in the lobby of the police station and it is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year round. Please take any medication bottles out of the bags they were brought in (if any) and place them in the box and do not place any empty medication bottles in box.

The department does not accept syringes, needles, or lancets.

Prescription and Over-the-Counter Medications (Including Liquids)
Vitamins
Veterinary Medicines
Narcotics

Not Accepted:
Thermometers
Personal Care Products
Hydrogen Peroxide
Bloody or Infectious Waste
IV Bags
Inhalers

*The Marblehead Board of Health is a designated Needle and Syringe Disposal Site in Massachusetts. There is a Needle Kiosk for residents to properly dispose of needles, syringes and lancets. If you need to dispose of any of those items, please bring them to the Marblehead Board of Health Office located at 7 Widger Road (to access office hours please go to (http://www.marblehead.org/index.aspx?NID=18).
