Meet Trouble The Dog During Story Hour at Wit and Whimsy Bookstore

Author Sheila Duncan will host a storytelling hour to share the magical adventures of the loveable children's character - Trouble The Dog.

Popular children’s author Sheila Duncan of Marblehead will host a storytelling hour for kids of all ages to share the magical adventures of the loveable children’s character she created - Trouble The Dog. (www.troublethedog.net) The reading and book signing will take place at Wit & Whimsy Children’s Bookstore, (www.witandwhimsybooks.com), 60 Atlantic Avenue in Marblehead on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 4:00 PM. This will be an interactive and entertaining event as Duncan will delight families with a lively narrative of “Here’s Trouble”, taking young listeners through the adventures of this quizzical pup. After the reading, children will be the first to see the new Trouble Buddy stickers and hear how to become a Trouble Buddy. Children can also purchase and color their very own Trouble doghouse for $12.95 – a cardboard canvas on which they can illustrate their hopes, emotions and dreams. New silver plated Trouble bangle bracelets will also be on display. Families looking for something fun to do are highly encouraged to attend.

Trouble The Dog is a big 18” keepsake plush with a big heart who comforts children experiencing trouble in their lives- big or small. Trouble and his posse of friends help kids learn how to deal with the bumps in the road that life brings - gently and with humor. Trouble has been applauded as “a healing plush,” and a “socially conscious” toy, by CNN and MSNBC and as a “therapy dog” by the Boston Herald.
