MHS Girls' Track Downs Danvers

The following information was provided by girls' track coach Michael Toomey:

Final Score: 86-50

's girls' track team improved to 2-0 on the season Monday afternoon, thanks to a very balanced attack. This meet came down to the final relay a year ago, so I was very happy with the performance today.

Highlights: Kelly Roland (High Jump,400 Hurdles); Monica Thorne (Long Jump and Triple Jump) and Mimi Goetz (Javelin, Shot Put) were all double winners.

Other winners included Janaya Randall in the 2-mile; Steph Lundgren in the 100 Hurdles; Paige Ferrucci in the 800 meters; and the 4 x 100 team of Kaitlin McCarthy, Cecilia Moran, Cailin Daley, and Mimi Goetz.

The girls' will move on to face Lynn English next week.
