
Marblehead girls volleyball faced a tough battle in a five set match before coming out ahead 3-2 over Hamilton-Wenham on Friday.
Marblehead came out strong and won the first game 25-11, before losing the second 21-25. Marblehead came back in the third 25-16, before once again losing the fourth 13-25. MHS battled in the fifth and came out with a 15-11 win.
Abby Settelmeyer had 10 kills and three blocks and Jenny Norcross had 7 kills and 4 blocks. Eve Rice had 7 blocks. Emma Bushman, Marblehead’s setter had 26 assists on the night. Mandy Dumais had 20 digs and 2 aces to end the night.
