MHS Principal Takes Job in New Jersey

Principal Ken Weinstein has accepted a job at The Hun School in Princeton, N.J., according to an email sent to parents this afternoon. 

Weinstein reportedly accepted the Middle School Head position and is scheduled to begin there in July.

According to the email, Weinstein learned in January that his contract would not be renewed when it is set to expire in June of 2013 and "immediately began a search for a compatible position."

Weinstein went on to say: "I want you to know how much I learned from all of you and how much I enjoyed working alongside this faculty, staff and student body. I am grateful to the Parents' Council, School Council, Friends of Marblehead Schools, MarbleheadCares, FoPA, and the All-Sports Boosters for their support of the mission of the high school. Please know that I will miss our students and wish them great things next year and beyond. This is a special community with exceptionally high standards and engagement. To be a part of it, even for a brief period of time, has been a real blessing for me and my family."
