Missing Dog Located in the Bathtub

Plus, sound check complaint and wheels stolen from a car.

At 6:03 a.m., a caller repoted that all four of the wheels on her husband’s car had been stolen overnight. The trunk of the car was broken into, the jack used and the wheels taken. It didn’t appear anything had been taken.

At 7:01 a.m., a caller reported a man down. The man was transported to the hospital and the log noted he was drunk.

At 10:15 a.m., an abandoned blue bike was reported.

At 11:11 a.m., a black bicycle was found along the seawall.

At 2:25 p.m., a woman complained that the music for the festival at Crocker Park was too loud. She said she was trying to work from home and asked that the music not be turned up until the festival actually started later that night. Police logged that a sound check for the festival was going on and the sound level was not unreasonable.

At 2:37 p.m., a woman called and said her Chihuahua had gone missing. She said no one was scheduled to come in and groom or walk the dog, and she had last seen the dog at about 8 a.m. that day. Four minutes later, she called back and reported the dog had been found in the bathtub.

At 7:18 p.m., a woman came home to find the glass table on her back deck had been smashed and her door was open. It didn’t appear that anyone had entered the home.
