Much Ado About Nothing by Rebel Shakespeare Co Opens Tonight at Marblehead Little Theatre

Marblehead Little Theatre and The Rebel Shakespeare Co. are thrilled to announce their collaboration for the upcoming production of Much Ado About Nothing to be performed at The Marblehead Little Theatre.

Much Ado About Nothing is one of Shakespeare's best comedies, because it combines elements of robust hilarity with more serious meditations on honor, shame, and court politics.

The production will run August 19th and 20th at 7PM with a 2PM matinee performance on August 20th. Ticket prices are $15. You may purchase tickets online at www.mltlive.org and also at The Arnold Gallery, 111 Washington Street in Marblehead.

The Rebel Shakespeare Co. Teen Intensive will also be collaborating with Story Shifters to host a Shifting Shakespeare workshop with The Marblehead Little Theatre. Story Shifters is theatre arts program specifically designed for students with medical, physical, and neurological impairments, including students on the autism spectrum and students with special needs. Through Shifting Shakespeare, students will explore the work of William Shakespeare at its roots and develop a sense for the language and messaging. The teaching artists, rebel teens and students will work together to experience the work on multiple artistic levels.
