Neighborly Sweep For MHS Basketball

It was Senior Night for the rival Marblehead and Swampscott High basketball teams, and the memory of it will be just a bit sweeter for the Marblehead graduates who can savor convincing wins over their next-town neighbors. 

For the Marblehead girls, Friday's 50-38 triumph avenged a January loss when they frittered away an 18-point third quarter lead.  Meanwhile, the Marblehead boys pumped in 17 unanswered points starting late in the third quarter to blow open what had been a back-and-forth defensive struggle en route to 62-43 win.
