North Shore Police Seek Pride Festival Vandals

North Shore police ask public's help identifying vandals who spray-painted "BLACK TRANS LIVES MATTER" before Saturday's pride festival.

Salem, MA — Salem police are asking the public's help identifying two vandals who spray-painted "BLACK TRANS LIVES MATTER" on the Salem Common gazebo ahead of Saturday's pride parade and festival.

The vandalism happened Saturday morning at about 3:40 a.m.

"This was a planned event to take place before Salem's pride parade," police said in a statement.
