OUI Charges After Man Hits Tree Near Country Club
The Marblehead man was taken to Salem Hospital following the accident.

MARBLEHEAD, MA - A Marblehead man is facing OUI charges after he hit a tree with his car near the Tedesco Country Club on Tuesday morning.
Shortly before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Marblehead Police got a call from Lynn Police about a car that hit a tree near the Tedesco Country Club on Tedesco Street.
Police arrested Anthony Howie Boyett, 44, of 288 Pleasant Street in Marblehead and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor and the negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Boyett was also transported to Salem Hospital to be treated for injuries he suffered in the crash.

During the investigation into the crash, Boyett’s employer called police asking for a wellbeing check on him.
