PAUL REVERE TO VISIT ST. MICHAEL'S CHURCH LOBSTER ROLL LUNCHEON JULY 6

PAUL REVERE A SPECIAL GUEST AT MARBLEHEAD LOBSTER ROLL
LUNCHEON SUNDAY, JULY 6



 



On Sunday, July 6 - the third day of the St. Michael’s
Episcopal Church annual Lobster Roll Luncheon - 
colonial silversmith and beloved American patriot Paul Revere will pay a
visit to Marblehead.  From 11:00 a.m. to
3:00 p.m., Mr. Revere will speak on St. Michael’s lawn at 26  Pleasant Street about the history of
Marblehead - especially about St. Michael’s bell built in the Revere foundry in
1818 and rung in the church’s belfry for nearly 200 years.

Visitors of all ages are encouraged to help Paul Revere ring
his bell while enjoying lobster rolls, lobster salad and family friendly food
and soft drinks.   All proceeds of the
July 4-6 , 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lobster Roll Luncheon benefit the local and
international charities supported by St. Michael’s Church.

Photos with Paul Revere are encouraged and the special event
is appropriate for children of all ages.  



 



Historical interpreter Michael LePage has been bringing characters
from American history to life since 1992. 
Aside from Paul Revere, LePage appears as – among other historical
characters - John Adams, Samuel Adams, Dr. Joseph Warren, and General Thomas
Gage.   Well known for his appearances at
the Paul Revere House, Adams National Historic Park and the Minuteman National
Historic Park, Michael LePage’s Paul Revere is making his first appearance in
Marblehead on July 6.



St. Michael’s Church Lobster Roll Luncheon takes place July 4, 5, 6 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. during
the Marblehead Festival of Arts, an annual celebration held throughout the
historic town.
