Pickup Youth Baseball

The following release was issued by Marblehead Youth Baseball:

Local children are invited to head down to this summer and play some pick up baseball.

The games will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays from  5:30 - 7 p.m. from July 5 to Aug. 4. They will take place on Gatchells A, AA and AAA fields.

Invited to join in are local boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 12. The games will be divided into: Never played, Clinic, Single A, Double A, Triple A or Majors.

The cost is $30 for an individual player, $50 for a family of two players and $60 for a family with three or more players. To register, click on the following link:  Summer Baseball Registration

The Summer "Pick-up" Baseball program is a fun, low-key, coach supervised program for kids. Players will be split into appropriate age and ability groups.  New teams will be picked each session so if you miss a day it is not a big deal. Each player receives a Summer Ball tee shirt. It's fun for all and a great way to keep those baseball skills sharp.
