Police: Callers Report Almost Getting Hit by Cars

At 7:55 a.m., an officer warned a motorist about a crosswalk violation on Pleasant Street.

At 9:23 a.m., a homemade moustache tape wallet was found on Smith Street.

At 4:15 p.m., a Locust Street resident reported that a neighbor told her that a man was sitting in a car in front of her house on Sunday. He also walked around the street before getting back into his car. When the neighbor approached the man, he said he did not need anything.

At 8:55 p.m., police received a call from West Shore Drive after a small tan vehicle almost struck a person.

At 8:56 p.m., a person called police to report that a dark-colored SUV sped past her and almost hit her on Pleasant Street. She said it was not the first time that it’s happened to her.
