MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless convicted.
Mon., May 30
- 10:15 a.m. A caller on Kenneth Road called police, saying a home health aid wouldn't leave the house.
- 7:22 p.m. A caller on Seaview Avenue said a car was "towing a kid on some type of board using a rope to pull him around."

- 1:02 a.m. A caller on Lafayette Street reported a "loud bang ... that sounded like a gunshot or cannon shot."
- 1:10 a.m. A person walking his dog on Hawkes Street said there was a truck driving around "dropping fireworks out of the truck."
- 10:42 a.m. A caller on Ocean Avenue said there was a needle at the beach by the children's playground.
- 11:17 a.m. A vehicle sideswiped a police officer's cruiser on Tedesco Street while the officer was conducting a traffic stop. No one was hurt; the cruiser was heavily damaged.
- 2:30 p.m. Someone stole house plants from a home on Orne Street.
- 2:55 p.m. An IRS scam was reported on Thompson Road.
- 4:11 p.m. An IRS scam was reported on Pitman Road.
- 9:49 p.m. A person on Meadow Lane reported receiving harassing text messages and e-mails.
