Police are on the hunt for a suspect in the overnight unarmed robbery of a Marblehead convenience store.
According to police, a woman called 911 at about 4 a.m. to report that she had been robbed while working at the 7-11 on Pleasant Street. She told police she wasn’t hurt during the crime.
The victim described the suspect as a white male, about 5 foot 10 inches tall, wearing a dark hood and a mask. He also wore a Carhart-style jacket, gray sweat pants and sneakers.

The robber pushed past the clerk behind the counter, stole an undetermined amount of money from the register and fled the store, possibly in a blue car. Police and a K-9 unit searched for the suspect, but were unsuccessful.
Police ask that anyone who saw or heard anything unusual in the area of Pleasant and Spring streets Thursday morning call police at 781-631-1212.
