Resident Charged With OUI
The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, July 10
- At 4:20 p.m., a caller said she hit a fence while driving on Beacon Street. The caller said she was tired and had closed her eyes. No injuries were reported.
- At 6:05 p.m., a father on Maple Circle reported that his young son was assaulting him with a scooter.
- At 6:14 p.m., a parked car was reportedly hit on Washington Street.
- At 6:26 p.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on Winthrop Avenue.
- Clifton Avenue caller reported that someone came to her door, rang the doorbell and ran off.
- At 8:55 p.m., a power outage was reported on Nanepashemet Street.
- At 9:50 p.m., a power outage was reported on Wallingford Road.
Thursday, July 11
- At 10:17 a.m., a Redstone Lane caller said his boat was vandalized overnight. The boat is on the dock at Parkers Boatyard and the cushions were missing.
- At 11:41 a.m., a glass door was shattered on Lehman Road. The break was reportedly caused by landscaper’s equipment.
- At 1:09 p.m., police received a report of a red inflatable boat wedged between rocks off Fort Sewall.
- At 2:55, a caller reported a hit and run overnight at Orne Street and Gas House Lane.
- At 8:39 p.m., police responded to a report of a vehicle striking a parked car at Arnold Terrace and Green Street. Police charged Laurel Whitney, 57, of 35 Laurel Lane, Marblehead with OUI, liquor, second offense, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
