Ring the Revere Bell on Independence Day

Follow the revolutionaries who will march to St. Michael's Church from Pleasant St. just before 12 noon on July 4th. Help them ring the Paul Revere Bell for 30 minutes. St. Michael's bell was recast by Paul Revere & Sons in 1818.  The first bell was cracked when Marblehead patriots stormed the church in July 1776 to celebrate the Declaration of Independence.

You can also help at 7:30 am - 8:00 am and 6:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

Before or after ringing the bell, view Marblehead Arts Festival sculpture and mixed media and pick up a heavenly St. Michael's lobster roll or salad, hot dog, chowder and more under the tent on the lawn. All lobster lunch proceeds support local and world charities.
