Rotary Club Announces Marblehead's Got Talent Finalists

The seven finalists will compete for scholarships from the Rotary Club.

The Marblehead Rotary Club is pleased to announce the finalists for the "Marblehead's Got Talent" competition. These talented performers will vie to win both prestige and scholarships at this year's benefit finale. The event will be held on Friday, February 7, beginning at 6 PM at the Boston Yacht Club.

Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships will fund the night’s winners as well as other scholarships that will be awarded later in the year!. At the end of the program, the top three winners will be awarded a $5,000, $3,000 & $2,000 scholarships for their talented efforts. Plus, two $500 scholarships will be announced and given to the performers who won the January 28th “audience vote” dress rehearsal, held at Marblehead High School.

The competition started with twenty-four acts. After the audition round and semi-finals round, the judges have narrowed the field to seven finalists. Celebrity judges will be the final arbiters.

In addition to entertainment, the fun-filled evening will include a silent and live auction including tickets to the Red Sox located in corporate box seating, vacation trips, original artwork, original furniture, Bruins tickets, Marblehead Little Theatre show tickets, wine and lots of other surprises.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served during the evening and are included in the price of admission. There will be a cash bar available.
