School Committee Gives Maass Authority to Sign Off on Glover School Project

School Committee members gave Superintendent Gregory R. Maass permission to sign off on contracts and agreements associated with the Glover School Project.

At a special meeting Monday morning, School Committee members unanimously passed a motion giving Superintendent Gregory R. Maass the authority to sign off on all contracts and agreements associated with the $25.4 million .

The motion was meant to clarify the deliniation of responsibilities associated with the project. Language included in the warrant item approved at gave some of the legal authority to the town's Glover School Building Committee.

"We just want to make sure we are all on the same page in terms of who has the authority to sign," committee Chair EuRim Chun said.

Maass will be in attendance at the Board of Selectmen's meeting at Wednesday night, when the panel is scheduled to meet with project managers and review the project's funding agreement.
