MARBLEHEAD, MA — The following are excerpts from the Marblehead police log. Suspects are innocent unless convicted.
Tue., May 17
- 11:03 a.m. A caller said there were people engaging in drug activity in the area of Ware Pond.
- 12:34 p.m. Pistols and ammunition were turned into the police station.
- 1:20 p.m. A woman said her son's iPad was stolen on a United Airlines flight.
- 4:02 p.m. A woman on Broughton Road called police because her daughter hadn't yet come home from the Bell School. Police found the daughter, who said she was playing on the playground and lost track of time.
- 6:23 p.m. A package was stolen from a porch on Village Street.
- 9:40 p.m. A man on Ocean Avenue said his son brought home marijuana. An officer was dispatched to the scene to speak with the youth.

- 1:29 p.m. Police served a restraining order to a male party.
- 2:58 p.m. A Marblehead school principal called police, concered about a student/family who haven't been heard from in a month.
- 5:20 p.m. Following a traffic stop on Humphrey Street, Salim Moutairou, 21, of Salem, was arrested on a warrant.
Thur., May 19
- 1:37 a.m. A caller reported a man sprawled out on the sidewalk on Pond Street.
